The Chart House: Happy Hour on Longboat Key

The Chart House Restaurant on Longboat Key is synonymous with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico, and of course, their fresh seafood, succulent steaks and their famous 'Happy Hour.' With a nice selection of cocktails, wine and hot appetizers at incredible prices, it's no wonder that the bar is a busy place each day from 4:30-6:30 pm.

A short menu of Happy Hour appetizers features such delectable offering such as Spinach Artichoke Dip, Ahi Nachos with pickled ginger and wasabi cream, generous Prime Rib Sliders topped with caramelized onions, horseradish cream and melted monterey cheese, fragrant Steamed Mussels and the deliciously addictive tempura fried Firecracker Shrimp tossed with a spicy dynamite sauce. With rices ranging from $4 to $6 for a selection of nine hot 'appies', and a bar menu ranging from martinis, cocktails, wines by the glass, and premium draft beers, priced from $2.50 for beers up to $7 for special martinis, The Chart House is a great affordable place to relax with friends before heading out for an evening in Sarasota or lounging on the key.
